TapQuit privacy policy

Overview

TapQuit is designed to keep your smoking log and cessation plan private. The app stores cigarette logs, plans, achievements, and settings on your device. We do not operate a server that receives those records.

Information stored on your device

TapQuit may store the information you choose to enter, such as cigarette logs, taper targets, craving notes, and progress settings. You can export or clear this information from the app. Removing the app removes its local data, subject to Apple device backups and settings.

Health data

If you grant permission, TapQuit can exchange the supported cessation information with Apple Health on your device. TapQuit does not send that HealthKit information to our servers or use it for advertising.

Purchases and notifications

Apple processes App Store purchases. TapQuit may schedule local notifications if you enable them. The app does not use advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.

Children

TapQuit is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 17.
